Pure Romancy University

Tuesday night I was invited to attend a FREE training seminar for Pure Romance. It is a series of trainings that are designed to help us run our business effectively and make sure that we give you, the customer, the best advice and education possible. After all, the Pure Romance mission is to educate, empower and entertain women.

This was my first PRU sessiona nd I hve not made it to any of the local team meetings, so I really didn't know anyone. So I did what I do best and started people watching. As I was looking around I notices that there were ALOT of full figured women. Don't get me wrong, there were some skinny people too, but about 85% of the consultants had curves! I think we are just more confident in our skin and really like to feel sexy. Taking ownership of your body is KEY to being sexy. I don't care if you are large, small, skinny, chunky, tall, short, blonde brunette or redhead, if you walk and talk and act like you are confident, you are sexy! Once you get to that point its a really empowering feeling.

Patty Brisbane, Founder of Pure Romance
Since this was the first meeting in the series we just went over a lot of the basics, how to book parties, what we should and should not say. How we need to be professional in everything we do and just get our name out there. What I did learn, though, was how and why the company got started. Paty Brisbane, our founder, wanted to create a safe, fun environment for women to learn about their sexuality and give them the opportunity to purchace romance enhancing procuts in the comfort of their home, or in a party setting with all their friends. The point of the company and women's secual health. It made me understand why men (of any sexual orientation) can't see our demo. It is really not geared towards them and it could make women feel uncomfortable to talk about their G-Spots or their preference on vaginal or clitoral pleasure. Oh hell even kegal excersizes and why using a trainer or ben wa balls would be so much more beneficial for them. I know my generation is a lot more open about stuff like this. I think facebook is to "blame" because it allows us to know everything about everyone. But there are still some women who get squimish when you start talking bout sex. Especially when you use medical correct terminology.

It goes back to what I was saying before about how we need to own our bodies. We can't be afraid of them. We need to stand up for ourselves and our sexual healh and pleasure but we need to take one step at a time. That's where I come in. If you invite me into your home, I will work with you to take that ownership. Thats the first step and once you are educated, you will be empowered!
